I found this image on reddit:

Here is what I did to find it:

  • Searched for the image on TinEye and sorted the results by oldest.
  • Saw that the first two results were from 2014 -an version of a photographer's website, belonging to Sebastian Mader, and a nail artist's Instagram profile, belonging to Casey Herman.
  • The results on TinEye led to dead links, so I went to the Internet Archive. The pages loaded, but the images did not load, so I could not confirm definitively that the image was from there.
  • Then I did google searches for Sebastian Mader and Casey Herman. The former had a website with a photography portfolio, but it seems the 10-year-old photo I'm looking for is no longer in his portfolio. I found Casey Herman's instagram account, but could not find the 10-year-old picture on her instagram either.
  • On the wayback machine, the archived version of Sebastian Mader's site mentioned something about an "Interview - Rock Hard" with the name of the model Auguste Abeliunaite and the stylist Natasha Royt. But that link did not go anywhere. It only refreshed the same page that I was on.
  • I googled "Interview - Rockhard" and finally found it. Bingo! A page with the full uncropped version of the photo, more pictures from the same photo shoot, and information about everyone who helped with the shoot and information about all of the jewelry in the photo.
